Neuropen is an effective screening aid, which combines two calibrated tests enabling the clinician to identify those patients most at risk of foot ulceration, when used in conjunction with symptomatic and clinical assessments.

10g Monofilament Test - assesses touch/ pressure sensation in large nerve fibres
- Enables the clinician to map areas of reduced pressure perception by exerting a specific meaurable force on the test site.
- Replaceable 10g monofilaments provide users with a reliable and reproducable test.

Calibrated Neurotip Test - assesses reduced sensation to sharpness/ pain in small nerve fibres
- Using a Neurotip within a Neuropen ensures that a quantifiable force of 40g can be safely exerted on the skin - providing a standardised test to identify patients with a decrease in sensation to sharpness,
- Safer tool for testing pain sensation - minimal chance of piercing the skin thanks to the standardised force.
