AQUACEL® Ag+ dressings are antimicrobial primary dressings for use for wounds, which are at risk of infection or show signs of infection, or where biofilm is suspected to be present.

AQUACEL® Ag+ dressings combine Hydrofiber® Technology and MORE THAN SILVER™ Technology - a unique ionic silver-containing, antibiofilm formulation.

AQUACEL® Ag+ Extra™ dressing is comprised of 2 layers of Hydrofiber™ Technology stitch bonded together making it more absorbent and is also strengthened with stitchbonding and can be used for cavity wounds. 

The combination of Hydrofiber® Technology and MORE THAN SILVER™ Technology has been specifically designed to manage the barriers to healing: exudate, infection and biofilm.
