Test Procedure

1. Prepare test - Allow test cassette, specimen, and/or controls to equilibrate to room temperature (15-30°C) prior to testing. Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test cassette from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible. Best results will be obtained if the assay is performed within one hour. Place the cassette on a clean and level surface
2. For Serum or Plasma specimen - Hold the bottle vertically and add 5 drops of buffer (approximately 200µl) into the extraction tube. Hold the dropper vertically, draw the specimen up to the Fill Line (approximately 10μl) and transfer specimen to the extraction tube. Compress the bottom of tube 15 times to mix the solution. Fit the dropper tip on top of the extraction tube
3. For Venipuncture Whole Blood specimen - Hold the bottle vertically and add 5 drops of buffer (approximately 200µl) into the extraction tube. Use a disposable pipette to transfer 1 drop of whole blood (approximately 20μl) to the extraction tube. Compress the bottom of tube 15 times to mix the solution. Fit the dropper tip on top of the extraction tube.
4. Interpretation of results - For Fingerstick Whole Blood specimen: Hold the bottle vertically and add 5 drops of buffer (approximately 200µl) into the extraction tube. Fill the capillary tube and transfer approximately 20µL of fingerstick whole blood specimen to the extraction tube. Compress the bottom of tube 15 times to mix the solution. Fit the dropper tip on top of the extraction tube.
5. Add 3 drops of extracted solution - Add 3 full drops of the extracted solution (approximately 120μl) to the specimen well of the test cassette, then start the timer. Avoid trapping air bubbles in the specimen well.
6. Wait for results - Wait for the coloured line(s) to appear. The test result should be read at 15 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 20 minutes.
