Emwrap Cohesive Bandage - 2.5cm x 4.5m x1

Emwrap bandages are cohesive, latex-free bandages made from cotton spandex. Emwrap bandages are designed to be self-adhesive, breathable, and comfortable. These qualities prevent the bandage from sticking to skin and/or hair. Emwrap bandages are also easy to tear, cut and apply. These bandages can be used in a variety of ways including: for the fixation of dressings, joints, and splints, as well as helping to reduce swelling and oedema.

Indications for Use:

• Reduce oedema
• Dressing fixation
• Joint support
• Reduce post operative swelling
• Overwrap for splints

Application:

• If a wound is present, apply a suitable dressing to the wound.
• Begin from the lower end of the affected limb.
• Apply only at 50% stretch.
• Apply in a circular motion with 50% coverage of previous wrap, working from bottom to top until required coverage is met.
• Trim any excess bandage and secure to itself.
